Applications:
Welding Air Cleaning Systems
Capture, Control and Clean Resistance Welding Smoke
RoboVent Resistance Welding Systems are designed for high production spot welding, nut welding, and other resistance welding applications. Using customized hoods and powerful suction, the system draws smoke away through a quick-clamp ductwork system made with a smooth interior and gasketed joints, into a multi-stage filter bank filtration unit.
Within the filter bank, the air passes through a compact, self-contained air cleaning system that recycles contaminated air using a highly efficient, multi-staged filter system. The net result is clean air, a clean plant and cost effective removal of contaminants. And most importantly, it provides a healthy work environment for your employees.
Effective, Easy to Install and Maintain
- Effective Cleaning: By capturing the smoke at the source, a RoboVent Resistance Welding Air Cleaning System will remove airborne contaminants. Our system uses a series of high performance filters designed to capture the smoke efficiently.
- Simple Installation: Customized hoods and ducting can be assembled from standard components to address the requirements of any resistance welding or spot welding operations, whether manual, automatic, or robotic.
- Preventative Maintenance: All of our equipment has been designed with easy access so that maintenance is easy and inexpensive. RoboVent offers comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Programs to protect your investment and make sure it is operating properly.
- Warranty: All RoboVent equipment carries a warranty for ten years for the cabinet, and five years for all standard components (see Great Lakes warranty policy for details). An Extended Warranty is available with purchase of a RoboVent preventative maintenance program.
Available Options:
- Mounting configuration: The equipment can be configured to hang from the ceiling, to mount on a stand, or vertically for floor mounting.
- Parts Hood: Add a small hood to your system, which can be mounted over your parts bin to capture smoke from parts that may still be smoking after being welded.
- E-Drive: The E-Drive System uses a sensor to constantly monitor the airflow, and then using a VFD, it automatically adjusts the RPM of the motor to compensate for filter loading.
- AutoSaver: Allows the RoboVent system to automatically turn on when the welder strikes an arc, and turn off after 5 minutes of no operation. Mounts in the standard control panel and senses power usage of the welder.
- SafeSensor: The SafeSensor particulate monitoring system detects a leak past your filters. If a leak occurs, the system shuts the equipment down and sets off an alarm. Keep your people safe!
- Supprex-200: The Supprex-200 Fire Suppression System is a dual stage fire suppression system activated by smoke and heat. If heat is detected, FM-200 gas is released to extinguish the fire. With Supprex-200 System there is little or minimal clean-up after a fire.
- Light Fixture: One or more 4' fluorescent light fixtures may be mounted inside the RoboVent hood to provide additional light for technicians or operators. Light is wired into main control panel.
- Mezzanines for Additional Storage: Complete your RoboVent hood, large or small, by turning the top of the hood into a mezzanine for added storage space.
