Clean Air Matrix

RoboVent engineers are experts in every category of air filtration and ventilation. The four categories below represent the major options for treating your contaminated air. RoboVent has designed solutions for each of these categories and has manufactured air filtration systems of unrivaled quality.

For more information about these categories, see Indoor Air Quality 101.

Ambient_Filtration

Large blowers and air filtration equipment draw contaminated air from the plant (typically at the ceiling level), filter it and return it to the plant. This is a proven solution in plants welding large parts with overhead cranes. It reduces the haze in the air, resulting in a cleaner working environment, with no negative pressure or heat loss.

SourceCapture_Filtration

Air in the immediate area of the welding activity is captured in a hood system, then filtered and returned to the plant. This is the best solution whenever possible. It allows for a more flexible system and removes the smoke directly from the operator's breathing zone. There are many types of source capture, including overhead hoods, crossflow hoods, fume arms and fume guns, some of which work better than others.

Ambient_Exhaust

Large exhaust fans draw contaminated air from the plant and exhaust it directly into the environment, typically through the roof or walls. This is a traditional method and often results in negative air pressure. Also, it is very difficult to climate-control your plant and the system may not work well in the winter.

SourceCapture_Exhaust
Air in the immediate area of the welding activity is captured in a hood, sent through ductwork, and exhausted directly into the environment. This is a lower capital cost alternative to filtration, but tends to result in high operating costs and large, unsightly ducting systems that work less efficiently with modifications. It also results in negative pressure problems.

Fiber Laser, Dust Collector

As technology evolves and lasers become more powerful, extra requirements are placed on the machine operators to control the dust produced from the process.

Fiber lasers require more advanced dust collectors to handle the finer particulate and heavier dust volumes produced from the stronger laser. Stronger lasers allow fabricators to cut thicker materials, faster. And, with that extra material and speed comes higher temperatures and finer dust.

Senturion protects your laser inside and out, allowing the housing and optics to stay cleaner for a longer period of time. With a 7” HD control display and shipped plug-n-play, ready to go, Senturion is a breeze to operate. It also reduces downtime with a powerful 15HP, energy efficient motor and individual pulse valves for longer filter life.

Senturion is tested and proven on high kW fiber and CO2 laser tables while cutting heavy plate on long production runs. PleatLock filters allow for initial filtration of MERV 15. Senturion can be placed indoors or out, configured with a range of motor blower combinations and built with explosion proofing for combustible dust.

Senturion Features

Designed for Fiber Lasers Every part and feature were meticulously selected and designed to handle the most difficult dust produced by fiber lasers which means maximum uptime.

APlug-n-Play Installation Ships fully assembled. Lift it, connect it and go! Your technicians and install crews will appreciate your choice in capital equipment with such a smooth installation.

BEasy HD Controls 7” HMI touchscreen can be mounted to suit, operator comfort. The unit is easy to control with simple navigational menus similar to a typical smartphone or tablet.

CEnergy Efficient Senturion uses a 15HP motor-blower combination so it uses less electricity and pulse valves to keep filters cleaner, requiring less energy to operate thus reducing operating costs for the plant.

DEFMaintenance, More Uptime Dust containment options can suit your operation. Pulse valves for each filter means less filter loading. Combined with more filter media in the cabinet, it all means filters will last longer and have to be changed less frequently.

GBetter Filters RoboVent Pleatlock® filters come standard and with better pleats and more filter media, we can capture more dust with less loading. The lightweight filters are extremely simple to change when necessary during maintenance.

Senturion Sizing & Configuration

Inside or Outside

Motor blower combinations can be adjusted to suit your application requirements. Senturion can also be modified and built with explosion-proofing for applications that may have combustible dust and need extra safety features with the system.

Visit our Combustible Dust resource center or check out the webinar to see if your application may require explosion proofing.

Standard Features

Control Panel

An easy-to-use touch-screen control panel that allows you to manage your RoboVent collector from a single screen.

SafeSensor_2019_IMG_3590

SafeSensor™ Particulate Monitoring

An advanced particulate-monitoring device capable of detecting leaks past the filters. If one should occur, SafeSensor shuts the system down and triggers an alarm.
